Céu das Artes is a unique and rare Umbanda church in Europe, offering various styles of traditional Afro-Brazilian Umbanda religious services and works. These are guided by experienced facilitators from the Netherlands and Brazil.
About Céu das Artes
The opportunity to practice the Umbanda religion outside of Brazil remains quite unique and limited, even today. Consequently, there is a significant interest in our services. As a result, we are often fully booked with our regular base of practitioners. While we are very open to welcoming new people, we hope you understand that our capacity to do so is limited.

1-day & 3-day work near Utrecht, NL
In November, we warmly invite you to join us for our 1-day event and 3-day Intensive. These gatherings are designed to offer different entry points into the work—whether you’re deepening an ongoing journey or taking your first steps with us. Throughout each of these workshops, we will engage in rituals of the Umbanda tradition, all supporting you in reconnecting with your inner essence. As always, we will work with music and song to accompany and support the individual and collective process.
December 2025
3-day work near Utrecht, NL
In December we will serve our most regular format of a 3-day Intensive. These days will be deep and transformative, as many of you are familiar with. Throughout the Intensives, we will engage in bio-energetic and shamanic practices, along with a variety of active and silent meditation techniques, dancing, and singing.
February 2026
4-day work near Giethorn, NL
In February, we invite you to join us for a 4-day event, to enter the new year in a conscious way. Throughout our gathering, we will engage in rituals of the Umbanda tradition, all supporting you in reconnecting with your inner essence. As always, we will work with music and song to accompany and support the individual and collective process.
