This name represents our idea that the church is a place where the arts and spirituality come together to create a harmonious and uplifting experience.

The use of the word “Céu” implies that the church is a place where individuals can connect with the divine and find inner peace, while the use of “Artes” suggests that the church is also a place where individuals can find inspiration and joy in the arts.

In Umbanda, the use of music, dance, and other forms of artistic expression are an important part of the rituals and ceremonies. It is a way to connect with the spirits and the divine. For this reason, the arts play an important role in the church and its spiritual practice. The combination of these two words, “Céu das Artes” creates a name that represents the idea that our Umbanda church is a place where individuals can connect with the divine through the arts, and find inner peace and inspiration.

It is a place where the beauty of the arts and the transcendence of spirituality come together to create a meaningful and uplifting experience, and where the belief in the spiritual entities, also known as Orixás, of Umbanda are honored and worshipped.
